Gracehill Vineyard Estate is one of Auckland’s premiere wedding locations, featuring a private lake and immaculately manicured grounds. Gracehill is fully licensed and can cater for events hosting from 30 – 200 guests. They pride themselves on designing bespoke events based on their customers’ preferences.

Guests will enjoy handmade canapés and ice cold champagne while the wedding couple have their photos taken in Gracehill’s stunning gardens.

THE GOAL

The client wanted to get found on Google for searches related to “wedding venues Auckland” in order to get more wedding business coming in through the website.

THE CHALLENGE

Gracehill wanted to increase their online traffic and enquiries. SEO was a natural tactic that could be used to accomplish this goal, however it was something that Gracehill had not looked at with any level of seriousness in the past. The site was generating traffic, but at a very high cost of a pay-per-click campaign and they wanted to reduce their monthly PPC budget without affecting the number of click-throughs being converted to customers.

THE APPROACH

We performed extensive keyword mining and analysis to discover terms that would drive visitors to the Gracehill’s website. Our online marketing team worked with our in-house development team to fine-tune the navigational structure as well as optimising content both onsite and offsite to improve the keyword positions on Google.
